Popular former Northampton Town midfielder departs Brackley Town after two memorable seasons
Brackley Town have said their farewells to a third player in quick succession.
Scott Pollock has departed the Saints after just two seasons, bringing an end to a memorable spell at St James Park.

A regular starter in midfield under former manager Gavin Cowan, Pollock played 70 times for the Saints across the National League and National League North.
In those games, Pollock contributed five goals and seven assists, though his impact was deeper than that as he formed a strong relationship with the supporters.
He was also heavily involved in the Saints’ National League North title triumph in 2024/25, playing 28 times during that iconic season.
Pollock penned in a message to Brackley fans: “Firstly I just want to say thank you!
“Thank you to the fans, to the staff, the players and everyone else behind the scenes at Brackley for making the last two years so enjoyable.
“From the first minute I was there, I knew it was a special club and it’s been an absolute pleasure to have shared so many great memories.
“From FA Cup runs, to of course winning the league, which will always stand out as one of my favourite footballing memories.
“I genuinely wish everyone at Brackley all the best for the future. And again, a massive thank you for everything!”
Brackley are not only losing a great midfielder but also a popular figure, as Pollock rose to fame as a teenager when playing for Hashtag United, a club formed by YouTube star Spencer Owen.
Pollock made 29 senior appearances for Northampton Town and spent time with Boston United and Yeovil Town before joining Brackley.
This newspaper understands Brackley offered Pollock a new contract but he respectfully turned it down, deciding to pursue new opportunities elsewhere.
The same can be said for attacking midfielder Morgan Roberts and right-back Tyler Lyttle, who recently departed the Saints despite having renewal offers on the table.
All three are bound to have plenty of suitors as they move on to the next step of their careers, perhaps back in the National League. They are top professionals, after all.
