Kineton nursing home celebrates opening of new facilities with community open day

A nursing home in Kineton recently celebrated the opening of two new facilities with a community open day.

Residents, families and members of staff came together to watch MP for Kenilworth and Southam, Sir Jeremy Wright, cut the ribbon to officially declare the new facilities at Kineton Manor open.

The new facilities, a creative lounge and a deluxe respite suite, have both been designed to enhance residents' wellbeing and provide welcoming, enriching spaces for residents, families, and visitors alike.

Speaking about the open day, a spokesperson for Kineton Manor said: “The Open Day was not only a celebration of new facilities, but a reflection of the strong relationships and shared commitment that make Kineton Manor such a special place.

“Seeing our community come together in support of our vision reinforces our determination to continue raising standards and delivering exceptional care for all those we serve.

“This milestone marks not an endpoint, but another step forward in our journey to provide outstanding care, compassion, and meaningful experiences for everyone who calls Kineton Manor "home.”

The bright and welcoming creative lounge, which has direct access to the garden, will become the home's main activities and social hub.

Residents at the home will be able to enjoy a variety of activities and social events as well as take part in therapeutic sessions in the room.

In addition to this, the lounge has been designed as a flexible community space, which visiting families can use for special occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, and other celebrations.

The creative lounge facility has been equipped with a kitchenette and an accessible toilet, making it suitable for hosting private events.

Alongside the new lounge, Kineton Manor has also introduced a dedicated deluxe respite suite to ensure that respite care is available when needed.

This room can be booked in advance like a hotel room and will provide individuals temporary care while granting primary caregivers a chance to rest.

The service offers families and caregivers peace of mind by providing temporary care when they need a break or have other commitments.
