“Sarah has not and will not be forgotten. This investigation has been very lengthy and complex, and I will make every attempt to solve this very serious crime and that is what I am asking for the public’s help.”

Last year police officers travelled to the African country as part of their enquiries and they are continuing to work closely with Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service, the National Crime Agency and the Kenya Police Service as part of the investigation.
Nabil Dahane, Sarah’s father, said: “It has been almost three years and I’m still looking for answers. Sarah was happy, thriving and used to love everyone. The time I spent with her, although it was quite short, was one of the best times of my life.

Dept Supt Hunter added: “Angela Whitworth travelled to Kenya on May 15 2013 and I believe she is still in Kenya and I am appealing for anybody who can help us to locate her to come forward. I believe there are people who know where she is and are in contact with her.
“Do you know where she is or know someone who does? Have you seen her? Have you had any contact with her since May 15 2013? Any details you provide, however insignificant you believe them to be, could be vital piece of information I need so please come forward if you have any information.”
