Founded by brothers Amran and Dylan Sunner and their father, Bill, Wingers launched in Lichfield in 2020 and has since expanded across the UK.

The restaurant specialises in buttermilk fried chicken cooked to order, with a menu featuring tenders, wings, burgers, wraps and salads.

Wingers co-founder Amran Sunner said: “We’re very excited to be expanding in the local community and bringing bold, fresh flavours to Banbury.

“This launch is another big step in our mission to bring proper chicken to every local neighbourhood in the UK.”

The company has also launched a mobile app and Wingers Rewards loyalty scheme, allowing customers to collect stamps with each order. New customers signing up receive a £5 reward.

Wingers says the new store will create more than 12 local jobs.
