Despite an improved performance, Brackley Town's form on the road is still a major concern for manager Kevin Wilkin.

The Saints boss saw his side go down 2-1 in Saturday’s clash at second placed North Ferriby United where they produced a much better second half display after goals in each half from Danny Clarke and Tom Denton had given the hosts a two-goal advantage. David Moyo reduced the arrears and Saints almost got a point in the closing stages.

But Wilkin is under no illusion as to the work still to be done, particularly on their travels.

He said: “Away from home against a strong side you could say the performance merited a share of the points.

“We have improved and are giving ourselves a chance now in matches and are more competitive. But it is results that matter and poor moments are still costing us.”
