Part of the M40 is closed in south Warwickshire due to a crash.
Officers are currently at the scene of the M40 between junction 12 and Warwick Services - no more details of the incident have yet been released.
This is expected to cause delays north of Banbury.
Warwickshire Police said: "The northbound carriageway is closed and is likely to be for some time. Please avoid the area and seek alternative routes if possible."
