Tribute act to bring sound of 70s and 80s pop-rock legends to Banbury
Tribute act Sonic Time Machine will celebrate the music of Genesis, David Bowie, Dire Straits, The Police, Pink Floyd, Supertramp, 10cc and ELO at their upcoming Banbury show.
Sonic Time Machine will bring their two-hour cinematic live concert experience to The Mill Arts Centre in Banbury on Friday, October 16.
The band’s brand-new live concert brings together the music of some of the iconic artists and bands that defined a generation.
David Wright, the creative force behind Sonic Time Machine, said: “This is a concert evening like no other. Featuring the music of eight of the biggest pop-rock bands of the 1970s and 1980s, combined with a fully cinematic theatre experience, audiences will be transported back to the height of these bands’ success.

“There will be opportunities for audience participation throughout - the atmosphere will develop naturally from the shared energy in the room.”
The two-hour concert will take audiences on a journey through iconic songs from each artist, from Money for Nothing to Roxanne, and Another Brick in the Wall to Mr Blue Sky.
Each performance is played live by the band, recreating the sound and spirit of the originals with authenticity.
The show also features immersive cinematic sequences, weaving the story of each act seamlessly through the music of each legendary band.
