Tennis: Adderbury A beat the weather but lose out to Hook Norton A

Adderbury A team's clash with Hook Norton A was the only Banbury Floodlight league Division One match to to survive the awful weather this week.

Adderbury just lost 5-3 to a very strong Hook Norton outfit.

The Adderbury men Paul and Miles lost 5-7, 3-6 but the ladies Anna and Tallis halved 3-6, 6-4.

Paul and Anna at first mixed did brilliantly winning 6-2, 7-5 but Tallis and Miles lost 3-6, 2-6.

Well done to Anna for winning three of her four sets.

Here's hoping for better, and drier, weather this week.
