Burger King to give away 1,000 free burgers to celebrate opening of new Banbury restaurant
Burger King will give away 1,000 free burgers to celebrate the opening of its new Banbury store.
A new drive-thru Burger King restaurant is set to open on Southam Road this Friday, September 11.
To celebrate, the store will give away 1,000 free Whopper, Plant-Based Whopper, Chicken Royale or Vegan Royale burgers to customers.
The restaurant will be open from 10am to 9pm on Friday, with the giveaway available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.

To claim a free burger, customers simply need to order a Whopper or Chicken Royale at the front counter or drive-thru.
Irunika, restaurant manager at Burger King Banbury, said: “My team and I are looking forward to meeting all our new customers in Banbury!
“We can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by giving away 1,000 of our iconic Whopper or Chicken Royale burgers, so get down nice and early to claim yours!”
Alongside the 1,000 free burgers, Burger King will also give the 100th customer to place an order on Friday a year’s supply of food at the Banbury restaurant.
The store will also hand out 100 tote bags containing leaflets with selected offers available on the Burger King app.
The new Banbury restaurant, located at the former CAR Motor Services site, has reportedly created 28 new jobs.
Plans to build the new drive-thru restaurant were approved in May 2024. The store was originally expected to open last summer, but delays have resulted in it opening around a year later than planned.
