Katie Wheatley joined The Chronicle & Echo in June 2022 as a trainee reporter, following the completion of a journalism studies degree and NCTJ diploma at The University of Sheffield.

Born in Northampton, Katie has now returned to her hometown to take on her first full-time journalism role at The Chron.
