Banbury Hockey Club preparing for national cup final this weekend

Banbury Hockey Club men's 1st XI won their semi-final against Bowdon 4-3 to reach the Tier 2 England Hockey Cup final

This crowns a great season for the club, relishing the chance to play at the national stadium at Lee Valley on Sunday (May 29).

Banbury Men’s first team reached the England Hockey Cup finals at London 2012 Olympic venue after winning a tough semi-final against Manchester club Bowdon 4-3.

East Grinstead HC 2nd XI await after overcoming Jersey in their semi-final.

The Tier 2 final at 4.30pm concludes England’s FIH Pro League weekend with Spain and South Africa.

Banbury, narrowly failed to take the South Central League title this season.
