The letter thanks residents for their good wishes and says Her Majesty “greatly appreciates the care taken by Violet to compose her verse especially for The Queen”.

Here is the poem Vi wrote for Her Majesty:

Her Majesty – Our Queen

She has an amazing constitution and follows through each resolution

Ninety years of a fantastic life, mainly joy but often strife.

Today is the time for celebration, Her Majesty is our salvation.

She is loyal to the Crown, and we will never ever feel let down.

Today she is the birthday girl, which we are going to share with her.

Finally it’s fair to say, that she is in a special way

An extremely great inspiration, to all who live in the British Nation.
