Tree narrowly misses a Banbury classroom
Storm Doris has caused damage across the UK, disrupting travel plans and damaging property and came close to claiming a Banbury Academy classroom as another casualty.
The classroom, which was being used by students, was missed by just four feet as a tree was uprooted at 11am this morning.
Banbury Academy ground crews were quickly on hand, cutting down the stricken tree before safely removing it.
No one was injured, no damage was caused and classes were not disrupted
