Residents at Brackley care home enjoy National Tea Party despite being in lockdown
Residents and staff did not let the current lockdown stop them from taking part in the annual National Tea Party on April 21.
Residents at Juniper House Care Home in Brackley enjoyed a wide selection of Victoria sandwiches, cupcakes, flapjacks, biscuits and toasted tea cakes.

The heavily loaded table included some floral cakes donated by St James and St John Church of England Primary School.
They were made by a staff member who has been practising her newly acquired cake decorating skills.
Rhiannon Crofts, general manager at Juniper House said: “In previous years we have invited residents’ families to join us for our tea parties, and of course we can’t do that at the
moment, but we have taken photos to show them.
The donations of cakes are an amazing show of support for Juniper House from the local community.
We cannot thank everyone enough – you all made it a wonderful occasion.”
