Four villages in the Banbury area will be without post office services over the next few days due to an "unforeseen" issue.

Long Compton, Great Rollright, Wiggington and Great Tew are all served by a mobile post office from Evesham Post Office.

But the Post Office has confirmed that seven villages will be without such services, including the four villages above.

A staff member has said this is due to "unforeseen circumstances" which has left the branch a van down.

Services are expected to return on Tuesday, August 30.

Long Compton

Chadlington

Great Rollright

Great Tew

Wiggington

Harvington

Alvechurch
