Bodicote Walking Garage and Boot Sale

The village will host the walking garage and car boot sale from 1 to 4pm on Sunday September 27.

Rather than the sellers going to one site they will sell from their own driveway, garage or garden. Buyers will then walk around the village and visit the sellers.

An online list of houses and streets will be produced along with a map to help people find a bargain.

People are being encouraged to check their lofts, garages, sheds and wardrobes to find goods to sell. Hopefully by enabling running an event like this it will encourage recycling and prevent items being disposed off.

To take part in the sale buyers will pay a £5 fee and this fee will be donated to the Dogs For Good charity.

So far 30 people have registered to take place in the event.

Organisers ask people taking part and visiting to ensure they comply with any government guidelines in place at the time regarding COVID-19 and social distancing.
