Booking lines now open for SPLAT programme in Brackley

With the February half-term fast approaching booking lines have opened for South Northamptonshire District Council's popular programme of holiday activities for children.

The Sport, Play, Leisure and ArTs programme (SPLAT), has taken thousands of bookings over the last few summer holidays and has now been extended to the half terms.

The activity hub based at Brackley Leisure Centre will feature a wide range of sport and art sessions. Highlights include swimming at Brackley Pool, bouncy castle fun and street golf.

Other activities include badminton, scatter ball, tag rugby, football, basketball, dodgeball, cricket and volleyball.

Between Monday, February 15 and Friday, February 19, children can be booked in for either a short day from 9am to 3pm or a long day from 9am to 5pm. A short day session costs £13.95 and a long day costs £17.95.

Alternatively there are ‘drop-in’ slots where children can be booked in for an hour at £3, or for two hours at £5.

Anyone who would like to book their child in for the whole week can save 10 per cent; a week of short sessions would cost £60 and a week of long sessions £80.

SPLAT is a a fun-filled week for children aged between five and 15 years including a variety of sports, arts and crafts which are delivered by fully qualified activity leaders
