Two 16-year-olds hid in undergrowth after a collision in Bicester on Friday but failed to take into account the ability of one of Thames Valley Police’s highly-skilled operatives.

The roads policing team were full of praise for one of the police dogs in the TVP and Hampshire team.

They tweeted: “Amazing work by PD Juke, without him and his handler we’d have never located the occupants. Two arrested and under investigation for drug drive, fail to stop, damage to crops, possession of a Rambo-style knife.”
