Firefighters from Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service dealt with a large barn fire near Middleton Cheney last night (May 16).
The fire produced a large smoke plume, prompting the fire service to advise residents of Middleton Cheney, Overthorpe, and Walkworth to keep their doors and windows closed through the night.
According to reports, the large fire that could be seen from the A422 was in a barn that was used for hay storage and was still blazing in the early hours of this morning.
