Banbury teen charged with murder in connection to Oxfordshire death last year

A Banbury teenager has been charged with murder in connection to the killing of a man in Oxford last year.

Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police two youths have been charged with murder.

A 15-year-old boy from Banbury and a 17-year-old boy from Milton Keynes have both been charged with one count of murder.

They cannot be named due to their age.

The charges are in connection with the death of 42-year-old Robin Williamson, of Awgar Stone Road, Oxford following an incident on October 27, 2019 in Woodfarm, Oxford.

The investigation started after the victim was assaulted in the Woodfarm area of Oxford on October 27, 2019. He was later found dead at his home on November 10.

The case was initially being investigated as an assault.

The two boys appeared at Oxford Magistrates Court this morning Wednesday July 29.

They have been remanded in custody to appear before Oxford Crown Court on July 31.
