Creating a new story by Jane Austen is a bit of a challenge given that the author died many, many years ago.

But that hasn’t stopped the cast of Austentatious who will improvise a new story based upon a single situation.

The troupe will bring their brand of madness to The Mill Arts Centre in Banbury on Friday, October 14.

The show is part of a new tour after five sell-out Edinburgh Fringe runs and three sell-out national tours.

As audience members take to their seats, they are encouraged to write the titles of imaginary Austen novels, one of which is selected – entirely at random – and immediately performed.

Presented in full period costume and with live musical accompaniment, organisers sat this is a treat not to be missed.

The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets for it cost between £12 and £14.

For further details or to book tickets in advance call the box office on 01295 279002. Alternatively, you can visit the website www.themill
