The dashing duo of deception Morgan and West bring their show Parlour Tricks to The Mill Arts Centre on Friday September 23.
They met while studying at Oxford – supposedly in the late 19th century.
It was in that seat of learning that the duo’s love of deception and legerdemain was born, and they say they would have been joined at the hip ever since, were it not for the vast discrepancy in the height of their pelvises.

It was a chance find in the adverts section of Peculiar Past-Times Monthly magazine that led to them coming into possession of a prototype time machine and with scant but a change of waistcoat and an industrial sized tea caddy for provisions, the 19th century’s greatest magical duo set off for the 21st century.
And for your delectation, the pair present what they describe as “an incredible show chock full of jaw-dropping, brain-bursting, gasp-eliciting feats of magic”.
The dashing chaps offer up a plateful of illusion and impossibility, all served with wit, charm and no small amount of panache.
The Daily Mirror d said of the show: “It’s impossible not to be impressed.”
The Scotsman’s reviewer said: “I can’t recall the last time my awe was this thoroughly struck.”
Comedy website Chortle said the show features “hugely impressive feats” and British Comedy Guide described it as “genuinely rich, wholehearted, fun family entertainment with mind-boggling trickery”.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available for £14.
They can be booked by calling the box office on 01295 279002 or by visiting www.themillartscentre.co.uk.
