A play exploring the topical issue of climate change will be performed in Banbury next month by a touring theatre company.
Riding Lights Theatre Company are to serve up their deliciously sharp-witted comedy caper Baked Alaska at the Warriner School in Bloxham.
The show brings together stories from all corners of the world, presenting the realities of climate change in a truly unique and engaging way.
Presented in partnership with Christian Aid, Operation Noah and the Diocese of Lichfield, the company hope it will raise awareness of environmental issues in the build up to the United Nations Conference on climate change later this year.
Ann Burden, of Christian Aid, said: “We’d like to encourage everyone to get involved, raise concerns with local MPs and be part of the answer.”
The production takes place at The Warriner School Hall on Friday, October 10, starting at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £12 and concession prices are available. Call 01904 613000 for more information.
