Popular music tribute act T.Rextasy will bring their trademark charisma to Banbury later this month - and they promise to show the crowds exactly what a Marc Bolan concert was like in the 1970s.
The group has been performing around the world for more than 20 years - longer than T.Rex’s own musical career.
The original band represented the glam rock era, with their 1973 record 2oth Century Boy reaching number 3 in the UK singles chart.
The track was written and composed by flamboyant frontman Marc Bolan and quickly became a rock anthem to audiences young and old.
T.Rextasy are often described as going ‘beyond the boundaries of tribute’ and their set features a number of the band’s most memorable tunes.
The gig will take place on Friday, November 20, at The Mill, with music starting at 8pm. Tickets cost £18.50 each and it is standing room only. To book, visit: www.themillartscentre.co.uk or call the box office on 01295 279002.
