The Old Town Party and Street Organ Festival brought hundreds of people onto Parson’s Street and the surrounding lanes.

Amazing cosplay characters such as Spider-Man, The Joker and Batman were joined by the eight-foot-tall Hulkbuster and Lighting McQueen car.

While the creator of the Hulkbuster armour and others for Marvel Comics, Kevin Hopgood, gave signatures to excited fans in Comic Connections.

Store owner Glyn Smith, who helped organise the event, said: “It went really well, we were really busy and the shop was packed – we had a fantastic day.”

Glyn added that seeing the amazement on children’s faces when they saw the Cars and Marvel characters was priceless.

Organ grinders from around the country generated an ‘old-time’ atmosphere and raised money for charity too.
