An exhilarating day of performances and activities is promised at The Mill in Banbury on Wednesday August 10 – all free of charge.

The highlight of the day will be two performances of Captive by the world-renowned dance company Motionhouse. Blending dance and acrobatics, it will be performed outdoors on a large metal structure.

Following on from the hugely successful shows Underground and Cascade, Captive has been touring the UK and Europe to widespread acclaim since spring 2013. The performances will take place at 3pm and 6.30pm in the car park at the front of the building.

In addition, Cherwell Theatre Company and Young Anjali Dance Company will be performing in the courtyard. Special ticket offers will be available on the day and there will be also a prize draw to win a voucher for tickets worth up to £100.

The event, running from 1pm to 8pm, is part of the Season of Dance at The Mill, involving dance companies from around the world, with performances, workshops and open rehearsals. Call 279002 or visit for details.
