A quiet village in Ireland is transformed by divas stropping and clash of cultures in a breakneck comedy coming to Chipping Norton Theatre.

Stones In His Pockets is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a tour coming to the venue from Tuesday, April 5 to Saturday, April 16.

Two actors play a vast array of eccentric and lovable characters in the play about the arrival of a Hollywood film crew looking for the ‘real’ Ireland for their latest schmaltzy blockbuster.

The pair watch with amazement, envy and delight while their quiet Irish village community is turned upside down as cultures clash and divas strop.

Playing Charlie and Jake are Irish actors Conan Sweeny and Charlie de Bromhead who both have extensive stage, television and film careers.

Tickets for the show cost between £13 and £15 with performances at various times.
