Cinders gets a makeover in Banbury panto

Cherwell Theatre Company will showcase their latest stage innovation in the new year when they give the tale of Cinderella a makeover.

It will be the 11th festive production presented by the talented group of thespians, which unites professional, amateur and young actors together.

This year’s will feature original songs, a hilarious new script and spectacular dancing, combining the spirit of a traditional pantomime with current themes.

Artistic Director Tristan Pate said: “After ten incredibly popular festive productions, we are putting our enthusiasm this year into what is arguably one of the most beloved pantomimes.”

He added: “There are laughs for children, parents and grandparents alike - as well as opportunities to drag a lucky few up onstage to join in the fun!”
