Pop star and Crystal Maze host to perform

Ed Tudor-Pole brings his one man show to The White Horse pub on Saturday Devcember 3.

Expect all the hits and more from the star who has appeared in many shows on the West End as well as television and films.

Ed with his band Tenpole Tudor enjoyed several hits in the 70s and 80s with Swords of a Thousand Men, Wunderbar and Who Killed Bambi from the 80s movie The Great Rock & Roll Swindle.

Oganisers of the shows have said that songs and respective performances that have to be seen as well as heard to gauge the bombastic nature and sheer eccentricity of the artist.

An eclectic career has seen him appear alongside many star names including Clint Eastwood in the White Hunter, Black Heart, Liam Neeson in the movie version of Les Miserables, Gary Oldman in Sid & Nancy as well as appearing in the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

He also appeared as the legendary comedian Spike Milligan in The Life and Death of Peter Sellers.

He also famously hosted the cult TV show The Crystal Maze after creator Richard O’Brien had left, and personally endorsed him for taking over the job.

Ed could also be seen in series two of the smash hit fantasy drama series Game of Thrones.

He also took a little time to explain the origin of his name. He explains: “It is a bit bogus really. The family’s original name was Pole, going back to the Norman conquest.

“My great-grandfather did some genealogical research and unearthed a connection to the royal house of Tudor and was added with the complete surname thereafter becoming Tudor-Pole.

It starts at 8.30pm in the North Bar Pub.

The event is free but people will need to visit the venue before the night and ask for a complimentary ticket.

There will also be a strict one in one out policy for the show

Organisers have said they expect all the tickets to go so people are advised to get them sooner rather than later.
