Play to help Banbury youngsters Thrive

A 'life-affirming' play encouraging young people to express their feelings about death comes to Banbury on Thursday.

The play is about Ollie, Ashleigh and Ralph, three young people who are thrown together by the sudden death of someone they knew. They find themselves wrestling with the turbulent emotions that painful events throw up.

By placing the audience in the middle of the set with actors speaking directly to them, Thrive aims to help audiences confront stressful situations, portraying the most challenging of emotions with courage and optimism.

The show is presented by Zest Theatre. Director Toby Ealden said: “We believe in the power of the arts to empower our participants and change lives.”

The show takes to the stage at The Mill at 7pm. It runs for 60 minutes. Call 279002 to book.
