Classic Car Drive In Weekend is taking place from September 18-20 within the grounds of Bicester Heritage.

Buyers, collectors and petrol-heads are all welcome to the Classic Car Drive In Weekend just down the road from Banbury.

Taking place from September 18-20 within the grounds of Bicester Heritage, the event will celebrate classic cars in all their glory on display, on parade, on sale and on the silver screen.

There will also be a drive-in cinema, with films such as The Italian Job and Days of Thunder.

Visitors to the three-day event can view over 500 classic cars on display from Britain’s leading car clubs, top dealers, a live auction courtesy of Bonhams MPH, classic car parades and track demonstrations, and hundreds of cars available to buy from leading retailers.

In addition, The Technical Site at Bicester Heritage will be open with some of its resident specialists on hand to chat to visitors about all things cars – not only that, there will be a host of exhibitors, traders and classic car restorers.

Daniel Geoghegan, CEO of Bicester Heritage, said: "The Classic Car Drive In Weekend is the perfect excuse to throw open the doors again at Bicester Heritage and to share the vibrant spirit here, we look forward to welcoming enthusiasts to our Centre of Excellence for Historic Motoring."

Bas Bungish, event director of The Classic Car Drive In Weekend, said: “There is no escaping that this has been a tough year, so we couldn’t be happier to be launching The Classic Car Drive In Weekend to put a smile on people’s faces this summer.

"Whether you’re a collector, in the market for a new set of wheels or a car enthusiast, the weekend is jam packed with live events and epic movies that celebrate classic cars at their very finest. It’s going to be the most exciting gathering of classic cars this year and we can’t wait to open the gates and hear those engines rev!”

Classic car owners are also being encouraged to drive in to the event with their own personal pride and joy and show it off to the world.
