Major classic car event near Banbury - here's what will be on offer and how to get tickets

Buyers, collectors and petrol-heads are all welcome to the Classic Car Drive In Weekend just down the road from Banbury.

Taking place from September 18-20 within the grounds of Bicester Heritage, the event will celebrate classic cars in all their glory on display, on parade, on sale and on the silver screen.

There will also be a drive-in cinema, with films such as The Italian Job and Days of Thunder.

Visitors to the three-day event can view over 500 classic cars on display from Britain’s leading car clubs, top dealers, a live auction courtesy of Bonhams MPH, classic car parades and track demonstrations, and hundreds of cars available to buy from leading retailers.

In addition, The Technical Site at Bicester Heritage will be open with some of its resident specialists on hand to chat to visitors about all things cars – not only that, there will be a host of exhibitors, traders and classic car restorers.

Daniel Geoghegan, CEO of Bicester Heritage, said: "The Classic Car Drive In Weekend is the perfect excuse to throw open the doors again at Bicester Heritage and to share the vibrant spirit here, we look forward to welcoming enthusiasts to our Centre of Excellence for Historic Motoring."

The Full Experience: Full day ticket includes access to the Car Show and ONE film screening of the visitors choice plus free parking on site

Adult standard: £25 (+ £2 transaction fee)

Child (6-16) standard: £15 (+ £2 transaction fee)

Child (0-5): Free

The Drive In: This ticket allows access to a film screening of the visitors choice. Car registration details need to be on hand when making the booking.

Adult standard: £10 (+ £2 transaction fee)

Child standard: £7.50 (+ £2 transaction fee)
