Founded during the dark days of WWII, Banbury Choral Society still continues to celebrate choral singing to a wide audience in the Banbury area.

Music was essential to people’s well-being during the war years and singing helped to lift the spirits. The choir is currently flourishing under the baton of Julian Harris who has been their conductor since 2010.

The choir is delighted to welcome back Charles Matthews to accompany them on the organ. His skill and dexterity at playing this complex instrument is quite breathtaking. He will be performing solo organ pieces to augment the programme.

Tickets for the concert at Bloxham cost £12.50 adults, £5 under 16s accompanied by an adult.
