Children's chance to hunt down Easter eggs at house

Youngsters can have plenty of Easter related fun with events taking place at Canons Ashby House starting next week.

The first of these is encouraging people to create Easter Tray Gardens.

Let the kids’ imaginations run wild with their own miniature tray garden. Materials will be provided by the staff at the home in order for them to create a little green space.

It runs on Friday March 25 and Saturday March 26 from 11.30am to 5pm.

Admission for the activity is an extra £3 for one child or £5 for two.

Then from Sunday March 27 to Friday April 1, the whole family can hunt for eggs across Canons Ashby’s ancient parkland.

This year the Easter Bunny has teamed up with Hanwell Fields Community School Year Six class to put together a gift basket for their friend Miss Alice at Canons Ashby.

On his way to deliver them, Bunny ended up having so much fun jumping along the ridge and furrow in the parkland that he didn’t realise his eggs were flying all over the place! Now he needs your help finding them to give to Miss Alice.

Entrance is £2 and the event takes place from 11am to 4pm. For further details call 01327 861900.
