Best live comic coming to Banbury

A trio of comics are coming to Banbury later this month guaranteeing a night of laughter to chase those winter blues away.

The three stand-ups will be performing at the Rock the Atic in Butchers Row on Sunday, February 23.

Headlining will be experienced comic, actor, writer and social commentator, Jeff Innocent. As a stand up comedian he has reached near legendary status among his peers and audience alike by staying at the top of his game for over 15 years.

He was voted the 'UK's Best live Comic' in 2016 and has multiple TV and radio appearances to his name.

Main support will be provide by Tony Law who is best known for his highly surreal material and delivery, and eclectic historical style of dress.

Many of his stand-up routines are ad-libbed, and built around various subjects that he has thought of, but not planned a routine about. His routines are often built around fictional and surreal situations.

He too has TV credits appearing on Have I Got News For You, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

Getting the crowd into the mood will be up and comer Jack Barry who is making waves in the comedy world and is probably the only stand up on the circuit with a degree in Chinese. Jack has provided tour support for comedians including Russell Howard, Marc Maron, James Acaster and Joe Lycett.

Tickets are £9 and are limited to only 60, available from the Atic website.

Doors open 7pm. Show starts promptly at 8pm.
