Leaders Banbury Bulls entertain second-placed Earlson who are now the only team realistically that can pip Kerr’s boys to the title and automatic promotion. The pressure is on Earlson to go for the win at Bodicote Park as they trail Bulls by four points with six games remaining.
Kerr said: “Even if we lose, there will be five games to go so we will still be in a strong position and there will be hard games coming up for both teams. But if we beat Earlson it will be a massive advantage for us.
“There is no reason why we can’t beat them, we won at their place and that will give us confidence for Saturday. But we will play the rugby that we have been playing all season and approach the game the same we have every one.”
Looking back on Saturday’s victory at in-form Dunlop, Kerr added: “It was important we bounced back from the cup defeat and retain our four-point advantage.
