Banbury Bulls head coach James Kerr will be hoping to have a bigger squad available for Saturday’s Midlands Two West South fixture at Old Coventrians.
Nick Pratt and Simon Brand may be available but Matt Brock and Rory Dymond are ruled out and Colt Tom Arnold is unavailable. Kerr is warning against complacency at the strugglers as Bulls look to keep their slim play-off hopes alive.
He said: “Old Coventrians are fighting to stay up and it will be a difficult place for us to go. Every team has a victory within them and we’ve got to make sure Old Coventrians doesn’t come against us.
“We’ve got Old Laurentians the following week and we feel we are capable of beating them, going on the first game at their place. But we’ve got to make sure we go into that game on the back of a victory if we are to take advantage of any slip by the top two.
“We’ve got six games remaining and we’ve got to keep our standards as high as possible.”
Some of the club’s young brigade, who made a big impact in the victory over Nuneaton Old Edwardians, will be in line for selection but Kerr will be looking for the right balance.
