Bulls extend winning sequence

If Banbury Bulls are to extend their excellent four-match winning streak at high-flying Kidderminster, they will have to make a much better start than they did at Bedworth.

For the second week running, Bulls had to come from behind to beat Bedworth 24-15 in Saturday’s Midlands Two West South fixture.

Bulls trailed for much of the game before tries from Jed Boyle, Dave Taylor and captain Ed Phillips, who also kicked a penalty and three conversions, sealed the win as they continued to pull away from the relegation zone. Bulls are now nine points above the drop zone and a victory at Kidderminster would surely confirm their status.
