The division one newcomers entertain the joint leaders at Ledwell Road where Harris will be looking for his side to bounce back from last weekend’s heavy defeat at Finchampstead.

Jandre Coetzee ripped through the visitors’ line-up, taking 7-16, to leave Tew reeling.

Harris said: “All the pressure is on Banbury, they’re top of the table. But if we look after our own performance then I’m confident we can get some points out of the game.

“The longer format will be another new challenge for us and one we need to rise to.

“We’ll be making nine changes after last week’s performance! Seriously, we will have a similar squad to choose from but Harry Smith will come in for Robbie Catling as Ashley Hubbert is still not fit to return.”

Looking back on Saturday’s defeat, Harris added: “[Jandre] Coetzee is a top bowler, the conditions suited him perfectly, and he will cause plenty of problems for other teams this year.

“Had I won the toss it could have been a different outcome. It was a wicket which you needed to bat on second.”
