Lewis Hamilton made it three wins from the last three races as he won Sunday’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
The Mercedes AMG Petronas driver cut team-mate Nico Rosberg’s championship lead to four points following a comfortable victory after starting on pole.
Hamilton led every lap of the race which started under the safety car in wet conditions before going to produce his fourth career win at Silverstone.
Championship leader Rosberg, in the other Brackley car, had to battle his way back past the Red Bull of Max Verstappen to take second place.
But it proved to be a disappointing day for the other two Banburyshire teams.
Esteban Gutiérrez came 16th for Haas F1 but his Banbury team-mate Romain Grosjean had to retire. Renault F1 driver Kevin Magnussen and Enstone team-mate Jolyon Palmer also retired.
