Banbury United manager Mike Ford was pleased to keep a clean sheet in Saturday’s success over Yate Town in the Evo-Stik Southern League.

The Puritans boss has been going through the videos of the games and said: “I looked at all the goals we’ve conceded so far and saw that we we’re still making the same errors as we were earlier in the season.

“So we spoke to Jack Harding and the defenders about the importance of keeping clean sheets and the players put ther bodies on the line to achieve that against Yate. That effort and determination has helped us keep a clean sheet against a very good side.”
