Saints dropped back into the relegation zone following Tuesday’s stalemate with AFC Telford United while Lowestoft Town beat Worcester City to go above them.

Kevin Wilkin’s side probably need to win both games and even then that might not be enough as Lowestoft are two point clear and have a game in hand.

Saints travel to Curzon Ashton on Saturday before rounding off against Tamworth at St James Park.

Wilkin said: “We can’t feel sorry for ourselves, we’ve got to go to Curzon Ashton, do a job, come back here the following Saturday and hope it’s still in our hands.

“We have to try and regain control of our own destiny and Saturday’s game gives us that opportunity.

“Curzon haven’t lost for a while and it will be a tough place to go but we have to pick up points there.

“It’s one defeat in nine games but five of those have been draws and just three wins. There have been numerous times during that run when we could have turned draws into wins.
