Saints have final chance to escape the drop
Like last season, Saints’ Vanarama National League North status will go to the final game.
Victory against Tamworth at St James Park will keep Wilkin’s side up, providing Lowestoft Town do not win. Saints trail Lowestoft by two point but have a much better goal difference.

“Now it’s back in our hands, but not totally, we have a chance and we’ve got to take it.
“We trained on Tuesday night and some of the players wanted to know how Lowestoft were getting on but the game was delayed so I didn’t know. But it was a relief to hear the goals go in later in the evening.
“Opportunities have passed us by in recent games and we can’t afford to let that happen again on Saturday.

“We’ve only lost once in ten games and if we could have turned two or three of those six draws into wins we would be clear. But that’s all in the past and now it’s all about Saturday.”
