Banbury United are still in pole position following Saturday’s Evo-Stik Southern League victory over AFC Totton.
While the Puritans were seeing off Totton at Spencer Stadium, second-placed Cinderford Town could only draw at North Leigh. That means Mike Ford’s side are two points clear with two games left in Division One South & West.
Top scorer Ricky Johnson finally gave United the interval advantage, breaking the deadlock four minutes before the break. Felipe Barcelos doubled United’s advantage nine minutes after the restart and Darius Browne wrapped the three points up in the 76th minute with a 25 yard strike.
