Moyo makes his mark as he takes over from Diggin

With top scorer Steve Diggin ruled out for several weeks, the responsibility of getting the goals to keep Brackley Town up now rests on David Moyo's shoulders.

But, with back-to-back wins on the road, there is no reason why Moyo and his Saints team-mates cannot go into Saturday’s Vanarama National League North clash with Bradford Park Avenue high in confidence.

And, with the club offering free admission to Saturday’s game, manager Kevin Wilkin will be hoping the town’s football fans can cheer his side on to a third straight victory.

After seeing Saints struggle for so long on their travels, Wilkin was delighted to see his side pick up maximum points from two games on the road, at Hednesford Town and the latest coming at Lowestoft Town, where Moyo got on the score sheet.

Wilkin said: “The first half was even but in the second half we made good decisions and earned the win.

“We needed to win again today after the win last week. If we hadn’t we would be looking down the barrel of a gun.”

Admission against Bradford on Saturday is free and all spectators will receive a voucher for half-price admission to the home game against AFC Fylde on Saturday, April 2.
