Sports were in control from start to finish but it took until the latter stages of the second half for them to make the points safe.

Manager Phil Lines stuck with the players that did so well against Thame United and Sports controlled the first half without being at their best.

At times players often made the wrong decisions and took too many touches. As a result, there were few chances of note, Andrew Stidder beat the keeper and a defender to a Livous flick-on but his header just went over the bar.

Josh Northam also dragged a shot past the post after a controlling a long pass down the left before beating his marker.

Ryan Markham and Craig Robinson were introduced in the second half and provided fresh impetus going forward. Robinson set Livous away for the second goal as he beat a defender and the keeper to the knock into an empty net.

Livous bagged his second goal after good team build-up play when Terry Fitton sent Stidder down the right and his cross to the far post found Northam who knocked the ball back into the box for Livous to head home. Northam went close when he blasted over the bar after being played through with just the keeper to beat.
