Banbury United boss Paul Davis looks certain to be without on-loan Luton Town winger Kynan Isaac for Saturday’s Evo-Stik Southern League clash with Chippenham Town.

Ade Talabi, who had to come off at Arlesey, should be fit to face Chippenham but Isaac has a groin strain and is a doubt. The club has an option to extend Isaac’s loan from Luton Town but that will be down to his fitness.

Joel Meade is not quite ready to return but Tom Fishwick will be included in the squad for Saturday’s game at Spencer Stadium after returning from his long-term injury.

Meanwhile, Davis also singled out club captain Luke Cray for special praise even though he has not featured in recent games.

He said: “Luke [Cray] has been different class for me. He knew he wasn’t playing well when he was left out and knows Jacob Walcott has been doing well since he moved to right back.

“But Luke always wants the club do well, whether he’s playing or not, he’s Banbury through and through.”
