Banbury United manager Mike Ford is delighted to have got his keeper sorted out for the new campaign.
Jack Harding has joined the Puritans from Ardley United and Ford reckons the 23-year-old will prove to be a real asset.

Ford said: “Jack Harding will be as good as any keeper in this division and I’m delighted to get him here. I’m still looking at other players and aim to give everyone a start in the next two games.
“It’s been difficult to get some of the players we wanted, Banbury United is not a club which players want to play for now we are not in the Southern League premier division. But we are where we are and have to get on with it.
“Other players will become available over the next couple of weeks but I’ve been very happy with the way the players have adapted to our coaching methods.
“We’ve been concentrating on what we do without the ball, now we start working on what we do with it.
“I’ve been happy with the football we’ve played so far, we just need it all to come together now and blend as a group.”
Harding will be up against his former side in Friday’s friendly at Ardley before the Puritans entertain Ford’s old side Oxford City on Tuesday at Spencer Stadium.
