Ford has signed West Bromwich Albion’s Bradley House as cover for the remainder of the season and the rookie keeper made his debut in Tuesday’s Buckingham Charity Cup tie against Old Bradwell United.

Ford said: “We’ve been fortunate with injuries this season but we’ve made sure the players are in good condition. We’ve only lost Mark Bell and Callum White through injury but I need to make sure Jack Harding has got some cover going into this stage of the season.”

The Puritans entertain Tiverton Town in Saturday’s Evo-Stik Southern League clash and White, who made his return on Tuesday as a second half substitute, will be available.

Ford said: “We’ve missed Callum [White], he’s been a top player for us and it will be good to have back in the squad at the weekend.”

Leaders Cinderford Town slipped up against Shortwood United on Tuesday but Ford said: “We can’t worry about what they are doing, we’ve just got to focus on our performances. Tiverton will be difficult and it’s important we keep our run going.”
