FA Cup: Saints announce ticket details for Newport tie

Brackley Town have announced ticket details for their Emirates FA Cup tie with Sky Bet League Two side Newport County.

The first round tie will now take place at St James Park on Sunday, November 8, with a 2pm kick-off.

The tie was moved to Sunday to accommodate BBC TV coverage. Saints’ tie with Newport will provide single camera coverage for BBC TV for its Final Score show on Sunday and a full highlights show to be broadcast that evening.

A club spokesperson said: “This is only the third time in the Saints’ history that the club has reached this stage of the world’s oldest and most prestigious cup competition. This is especially exciting because we are marking the club’s 125th year. Tickets will go on sale shortly and we expect a sell-out crowd.”

Tickets prices are Adults £12, Over 60 and Concessions £6, Under-18 £3. Home ticket sales are through Brackley Town FC only at the St James Park clubhouse on Saturday, October 31, 12-5pm, Sunday, November 1, 10am–5pm.

If tickets remain then a further announcement will be made as to arrangements. Away ticket sales are directly from Newport County only.
